"What's the difference between a "Tailor-Made Moments" package
and "Your Unique Love Story" package?
The “Your Unique Love Story” ceremony package is one that tells your unique story as couple – your journey together, what you love and appreciate about each other, a funny story or anecdote about you both, shared with your guests in a heart-warming, sincere, humorous and engaging way. It may even include a ritual like a handfasting or a sand ceremony. Writing your unique love story takes more time than a "Tailor-Made Moments" package – usually about 3 to 6 hours more, so there’s a slightly higher fee. The “Tailor-Made Moments” package is a ceremony tailor-made for you and contains much more than just the legally required words, but does not re-tell your love story.
Did you know that crafting a thoughtful personalised wedding ceremony typically takes anywhere between 10 and 20 hours? This includes communicating with you (in person, phone, email or zoom), preparation and handling of your marriage paperwork and lodging it with BDM Victoria, writing your ceremony, travel time, optional rehearsal and of course conducting your ceremony.
My professional fees are competitive and offer great value. I use a state-of-the-art speaker, wireless microphones, and I can also play your ceremony music. I provide you with a comprehensive written quote listing all inclusions and once agreed on, remains fixed - no hidden costs!
As a Registered Authorised Marriage Celebrant since 2010, I have professional indemnity and public liability insurance and I follow the Code of Practice for Marriage Celebrants at all times.
